Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to support the planning and execution of household goods relocations for our members. This role serves as a key point of contact throughout the moving process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and have prior experience within the transportation or moving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the transportation of household goods and personal belongings.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers, providing guidance and support before, during, and after their move.
  • Assist management with scheduling, tracking, and logistics-related activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and process customer documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams through phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties in a fast-paced office environment, including data entry, file management, and report preparation.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.
  • Protect confidential information and follow established company procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service experience.
  • Experience handling administrative tasks, data entry, and document review.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative and customer service experience.
  • Previous experience in the transportation, logistics, relocation, or moving industry is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds.
